Smarty Saver allows delivery of one or more defibrillating shocks on an adult or paediatric patient affected by ventricular fibrillation or ventricular tachycardia through a thorax impedance-compensated, BTE.

• Step 1 -The Fully-Automatic model analyses the patient's ECG, and if a shockable rhythm is detected, it will warn the user of imminent shock delivery.
• Step 2 -The following phase is Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. The administrator will be guided by voice prompts and the metronome marking the various cycles of compressions and insufflations.
