• Step 1 – Open the cover and turn on the unit
• Step 2 – Unit will guide the user through attaching the electrodes from the Pad Pak
• Step 3 – Unit will analyse heart rate and rapidly charge ready to administer shock
• Step 4 – The AED will announce that a shock is recommended with audio and visual cues
• Step 5 – Press the orange heart button to administer the shock when prompted
• Step 6 – After the shock is administered begin CPR on the patient
• Step 7 – After 2 minutes of CPR the unit will analyse heart rate again and repeat the process if necessary
