• The topical wound dressing allows a continued release of iodine, which is impregnated with an ointment containing 10% povidone iodine
• Infections are managed by bacterial, protozoal and fungal organism that are allowed to release over a period of time
• A water-soluble environment is provided by polyethylene glycol and purified water ingredients, this allows iodine to reach bacteria in the wound
• Dressing changes colour to indicate when a change is required
• Broadest spectrum antiseptic for human use and has no reported cases of resistance
• Easy to apply and remove
